We provide the following services...

Urgent care

For most non-life threatening situations (no strokes or heart attack). Feeling ill, cuts, possible fracture. Just come on in. * Please call first to make sure we are open. We seldom close. If we are not your primary care physician, you will need a referral and you need to call your insurance company. The patient may need to sign a waiver.

Primary Care

We can become a person's primary physician from age of birth to death.

Preventative Medicine

We believe in Chelation Therapy. It is a wonderful natural way of staying healthy. In addition, an aid to help with growing older. Herb and vitamins are always helpful to us.

Industrial Medicine

We try very hard to keep employer insurances at a low premium by providing:

  1. On site drug screen- reduces lost time resulting in lower compensation
    rates. Disability and accident rates are also lowered.
  2. Pre-employment physicals- results in lower insurance costs as well.
  3. On site hearing tests for OSHA Guidelines.
  4. We will come into your company and provide an alternative work program so your employee loses no time. This will in turn reduce your insurance cost and still provide productive rates.
  5. We do OSHA Respiratory Fit Test and Teaching on premises or at the office.
  6. We provide suturing, foreign body removal, and first aid care at a much lower cost than an emergency room. If the patient does not require time off work it can be classified as a first aid and your compensation rates are kept down. The company pays a first aid rate to Caro Medical Center and there is no compensation claim.

** Our rates are purposely kept very low to help the industry be profitable.

Physical Therapy

Pain and dysfunction arise in the musculo-skeletal system when an anatomical structure becomes overloaded for its task. As physical therapists our job is to identify those structures, identify imbalance in the system that has caused overloading and work out strategies to correct the overloading. These strategies may involve strengthening what is weak, stretching what is tight, and relieving what is inflamed. Our most important strategy, however, is education. We must help patients identify what they do in everyday life that is contributing to this anatomical overloading. Our ultimate goal is to have a self-managed, pain free, well functioning individual.

Chiropractic Services

Chiropractic is a specialty profession that concerns itself with the spinal column and nervous system. A Chiropractic is a uniquely trained doctor who specializes in locating and correcting a condition known as a vertebral subluxation. Vertrebral subluxations occur when one or more of the moving bones of the spine misalign and place damaging pressure onto delicate spinal nerves. This interferes with the body's control mechanism and can cause pain, ill health, and disease. Today's chiropractic is a highly trained specialist who uses diagnostic imaging (including x-rays), neurological testing, and physical examination to accurately diagnose the presence of vertebral subluxation, and to monitor a patient's response to care.

Chiropractors serve in the capacity of primary health care and are an intgral part of the health care team.

Massage Therapy

The benefits of hands-on therapeutic treatments cannot be understated. The practice of massage has been effective for centuries across the globe and a myriad of cultures. From the Orient to Western societies, massage continues as a treatment modality and has enjoyed a popular resurgence in the past decade. Massage works primarily with circulation patterns, especially assisting blood and lymph back to the heart and associated vessels. It also promotes stimulation in the muscular system and relaxation to the mind and nervous system. Eastern techniques such as shatsu and accupuncture aid in energy transmission through the body for visceral health and pain control.

CranioSacral Therapy

Cranisacral Therapy (CST) is a light touch technique developed by Dr. John Upledger employing five grams of pressure (the weight of a nickel) to assist boney and membrane movements involved in production and circulation of cerebrospinal fluid. These techniques can have profound effect on the Central Nervous System (CNS) and hence related effects into other systems of the body. It has been discovered that the emotional system can also be addressed and an associated technique called "somatoemotional release" is also employed. Treating the "whole person is the goal of Massage and CST.
